Blessed with a Kiss!

I give Zoey 5 million kisses a day. Now she’s at the stage where she’s reciprocating it and it’s the cutest thing on earth. Sometimes, she would actually initiate the kiss which I find amazing!

I have a feeling she’s going to be my best friend. I think she thinks it’s cool to hang out with mommy.

This is a diy kleenex box. I used Japanese paper to cover the once metal box.

Saw these gorgeous red willow branches at Whole Foods. Ain’t no way we were leaving w/o giving them a home. Ain’t no way!

Rubbing her eyes. Someone is getting sleepy!

And she peacefully snoozes in mommy’s arms. Do give your baby millions of kisses each day b/c when they know how to give it back, a kiss is not just a kiss.

Til next post, Kellie

  1. That top pic is like something out of a magazine! You’re both beautiful! It’s such a blessing to have our little ones, especially when they start to return that affection and trust. My little girl saying “mama” is music to my ears!

  2. That is the sweetest thing ever. I have a nine-month old son who’s teething and I can’t be there to see all the wonderful things that he does and all the changes that he goes through because of studying and focusing on my law degree but my oarents always make sure to send me all the latest updates on everything that he does. I’m truly jelous of you and Zoey. #too blessed

  4. I’m more of a hugger than a kisser with two young boys who think kissing is yucky and prefer a hug now, enjoy each kiss while it last as they grow so fast and change so much.

  5. Your blog is beautiful! I love your photos. It is so true when your baby gives a kiss back, it’s no longer just a kiss!! I give all three of my kids kisses many times a day. I don’t want to miss out on that!

  6. Def enjoy those baby kisses! My “baby” is 14 years old. I miss those days where I was his world and he was after me to snuggle! There are moments to be enjoyed at every stage of your child grow up of course -but I sure do miss being able to scoop him up and “give him 5 million kisses a day” 😉

I feel a LOT like you do about my own now five-month-old — I think she’s going to be my new best friend too! Getting kisses from her must feel awesome, I can’t wait ’til Little V starts reciprocating.

  10. Charming post and beautiful pictures. I have bathed my son in kisses since the hour I held him in my arms. I know the exquisite feeling when he began to return the affection by hugs and kisses, even when very sloppy! I treasure each one as he moves through childhood, knowing all too soon he will not want mom to kiss him.

  13. What a sweet post! My son is 5 months and just starting to do the open mouth kiss that babies do. I kiss him constantly. It’s euphoric!

  14. This is so sweet & all the pictures are stunning! My daughter just started giving & initiating kisses to. She also just leaned to mimic caressing my face softly after I showed her “gentle” one day! These learning stages are my favorite and ones I wish we could freeze because they go by so quickly!!

  15. Beautiful pictures as usual. And yes, millions and millions of kisses. And now that my youngest is a toddler, he’s kiss obsessed and won’t leave the room without kissing my cheek (even if he’s only leaving for a second). So sweet.
