I think that everyday should be a celebration of some sort. If you think about all the positive things in your life, aren’t they worth celebrating? For example, the support of family & friends, the unconditional love of a loved one towards you, your children during their preteen yrs (remember when you thought they were the smartest kids on the block?), yummy food, gorgeous weather, that reliable cafe shop, the juicy gossip column, etc.

With that being said, new to my Etsy shop is the Celebrate artwork collection. A collection of positive & uplifting reminders to celebrate LOVE, LIFE, NOW!

This is my favorite! I used to be one of those people who had my life planned out like a precise map. By 23, I would be…., by 25, I should start …., by 28, to be married, the list goes on & on. I was always living for the future b/c I was too busy planning my life & didn’t want my vision to be steered any other direction. All the while I forgot to live & enjoy the PRESENT.

That all really changed when I had Zoey. She’s growing up so fast that even if I had a future road map for her, I wouldn’t be able to catch up. If I blink an eye, she would be talking already! I am learning to embrace the present b/c soon she’ll move on & won’t wait for me. It’s amazing how an innocent child can teach you invaluable life lessons.

So, please celebrate the NOW in your life! Tomorrow… is still unknown.
