One of the things that we always do as a Fall tradition is go foliage sightseeing. This activity is one that I look forward to the most. It’s simply breathtaking to see the ground covered in cloaks of red, brown, and orange leaves. My most favorite leaves are those of maple trees. The colors are always so vibrant.
This yr we stopped by Covered Bridge No. 17 in CT (or NH, I can’t recall). Most of our ventures this yr involve Zoey for the first time so it’s more exciting and precious.
Sitting below a vibrant yellow maple tree.
Beneath the covered bridge is a shallow river with rocks lining the sides.
The road was quite barren so we HAD to get a picture in the middle of it.
This was my corny idea. Zoey looks disgusted!
She was enjoying playing with the leaves.
Her cute ankle leather boots are from Zara.
So adorable with her wool scarf.
Do you go foliage sightseeing? If so, where? Please share!
When we both still lived down south (him in AL and me in GA) we would frequent Gatlinburg, TN to the smoky mountains for our foliage adventure. Gorgeous place!
such beautiful photos! I love the autumn leaves captures. your daughter is beautiful too 🙂

I enjoy the fall colors of the Flint Hills in Kansas. The area is actually covered in trees of all different colors and sizes! My favorite to see are the bright red leaves.

I live in GA at the foothills of the mountains. There’s no specific place we go, but we almost always venture up somewhere in the N GA mountains. There are some waterfalls that are particularly spectacular at this time of year.
Gatlinburg was our honeymoon spot…it’s gorgeous there.

Looks like so much fun! I do love fall. I’m hoping for pleasant weather when I get to visit my man this month so that we can do a little seasonal sight seeing as well.

I have been meaning to go foliage sightseeing for weeks this year; we have fall colours similar to yours, but without the added interest of the beautiful covered bridges. I adore fall colours, and your shots and autumn jacket are gorgeous.
