After living out of our suitcases for over a week, we are finally home! It feels so good to be back and living normal again.
And what better welcome home gift than coming home to a bunch of peonies in bloom?
I went through an orchid phase, then hydrangeas, and now peonies. I’m still OBSESSED w/ them!
All I want to do now is to sit, relax, and enjoy a cup of tea. It’s been hectic crazy with all the traveling. Craving for some Zen time.
This is our second yr growing peonies. They are soooo worth it! We have about 10 pots of them (and that’s still not enough!).

Your peonies are gorgeous! Our peonies are in bloom too and I wish I could bottle up the scent. Bounce over to my blog to see my vase…nothing fancy…simply re-purposed!
In our perennial beds I think it is a tie between the peonies and bachelor’s button for my favorites.

I love my orchid, but I think I am slowly killing it. I am just not sure what to do. I water more, less, move for more/less light, and still petals fall off my tiny teacup beauty. I look down at my apparent black thumb and sigh sadly.
