Light & Dark- Le Vernis

Hello! Hope everyone is having a great day!! What are your favorite nail colors? Mine has always been an opaque nude/light pink and something in the gray spectrum. My first love w/ gray nails stems from OPI’s ‘You Don’t Know Jacques.’

Just recently snatched up some colors – one light, one dark that I want to share.

Ballerina reminds me of many of the Essie’s lighter tones- mademoiselle, rock candy, limoscene, etc. Paradoxal seems like a blend of gray and a tiny bit of purple glittery undertones. This color reminds me of Gelish’s Jet Set. It looks a lot more purple in the bottle but comes out more gray on the nails.

How much do you love this mug design?! I like it A LOT.

Loving the macro shots.

Always have a cocktail ring handy.

And speaking of nail colors, here’s what I’m currently sporting.

A pretty deep pink although it looks more reddish in the pics.

You know me. I have to take multiple shots of EVERYTHING.

Do you have a favorite nail color(s)/brand? Please share!

‘Til next post, Kellie.

  1. Gotta love Chanel 🙂 Also, I don’t normally like zebra stripes, but on that mug with the color it works for me! Looks great! And I know what you mean about multiple shots – there’s always so many angels to get a great picture!

  2. I tend to gravitate towards dark colors most of the time, like purples, teals, navy blue, and dark red. I have an obsession with glitter polish, so my nails have been sparkly lately. Opi is always a good choice. Butter London has great colors and A England has cool, medieval stories behind their collections. 🙂

  3. Love your posts – what software do you use to place decals and writing on your photos? I’m doing a digital scrapbook and would like to do something like that.

    Thanks
