I will be the first to admit that I am a HUGE accessory junkie! When I travel, I pack A LOT more accessories than I do clothes. I am actually an extremely light packer when it comes to packing clothes. I only bring a few key pieces that can integrate into many different outfits. Seriously, you don’t need 5 pairs of jeans even if they are half a shade different from each other! From 2 feet away, they all look the same!
Here are a few pieces of accessories that came along w/ me to our most recent trip to LA.
Nowadays, I wear mostly clip earrings! I think they are so much more chic and remind me of old glam. You wouldn’t have guessed, right?
I think that sometimes, accessories MAKE the outfit.

I’ve collected vintage brooches (cameos especially) and necklaces since I was young. With a 6 month old baby girl they are off limits though alas. I also have a minor obsession with vintage lace tops and evening purses.

I have a ton of clip on earrings that my grandma gave me. I always wanted to wear them, and I thought about turning them into a cool pin or drawer pulls. I’ll try em for their original purpose first. lol That bracelet is awesome. And I think I may have to upcycle the 80’s belts i found in my moms basement!

I live in Houston… but, I really dig scarves… yet seldom ever am able to wear them because we have five days of winter. On the plus side… I tend to misplace them so I guess it’s for the best.

I like the cuff belt. It’s very cute! Your right about the jeans. You don’t need that many. If you plan to do so, they should be dramatically different.

I too, LOVE, accessories… I had a couple of drawers full, gathered over years and years of travel, receiving gifts and inheriting… but we got burgled recently and 99% got stolen 😦 Plus a beautiful unique carry bag I bought on my honeymoon!
