Design Inspirations

Because we are in MAJOR redesigning mode for our living space, my mind is submerged with gazillion decor ideas. To share & spread this insanity, I’ve gathered a roundup of my favs from my pinterest board, Abode.

Join my current obsession with these drool worthy design ideas!

LOVE the white space, natural light, high ceilings, and pop of colors. Oh, and the hanging white shelving unit on the right.

This is one insanely gorgeous capiz shell chandelier!

Make an impressive ‘wall art’ shelf from all your books!

A bold, statement mirror says it all. Images above via.

Loving the white shelving unit and all the neatly stacked white dishes!

We are thinking of replacing our danish dining chairs for these mid-century modern ones.

I would go NUTS if I own a chair like this.

Clever built in white shelving unit. Images above via

Love the contrast of white against dark wood. Also, here are the wanted dining chairs again (this one w/ a chrome base instead of wood).  via

My husband would probably die to have this mid-century modern brown swan chair although he wouldn’t personally use those words, exactly.  via

A cool hallway. via.

What kind of designs are you into? Please share!

‘Til next post, Kellie.

  1. I’m doing exactly the same with my books! As you say some of them are so artistic and perfect to decorate.

  3. I love all of these but I particularly love the flooring in that last photo, which I am assuming from the photo is an entry or close to the entry. I like a rustic minimalist look. It is not an official style, but it is the best description I can come up with for my “style”.
