Get Nailed For Fall

Yesterday, I left off with a merlot fall outfit post, as seen here. What I didn’t include was what’s happening on my nails. I was sportin’ a deep dark red with a touch of sparks.

I’m not a full blown nail art fan so just a little something on the ring finger is good enough for me. Lately, I’ve been coveting some glitz. They remind me of those sparkly sunsets of breezy autumn nights. Both romantic and magical.

Jewelry heist has some nice fall color sparkles, with both tiny and large specs. Available at CVS.

I’m a little obsessed with the quick dry from NYC. It promises to set in 60 secs and from my experience, it does. I’m a mommy and I don’t have time to wait around, flapping my nails to dry. Plus, it gives you major shine action. I’ve tried seche vite in the past and although it delivers the shine, I don’t think it dries as quickly. Plus, the bottle itself dries out and gets too thick after just a few applications. It’s a challenge to apply unless you add polish thinner. For the price and delivery, I am an NYC fan.

A quick guide of the ‘it’ colors to keep in mind when shopping (or repurposing) your new fall wardrobe.

Which fall pantone is your favorite? Please share! I think that deep emerald is going to be my next fall color to attack.

Live life stylishly and creatively!

‘Til next post, Kellie.

  1. I love it! I’m in love with Zoya. I’ve been dying to try nail art that doesn’t look crappy. But since I do have a burgundy color along with plenty of sparkles (I love how glitter nail polish looks over dark colors) so I might attempt that with what I have.

  2. I’m not big with the nail art myself but your sparkles on the ring finger would be perfect for me I think. I’m also a big fan of the darker deep nail polish colors.

  3. I’m also dying to try a deep emerald too! A England brand has a new “Gothic Beauties” collection which includes a deep forest green, slightly sparkly color called “Tess D’Urbervilles.” It may be a little darker green than deep emerald, but it may be worth checking out! 🙂

  4. I’m not a dark colored person, but I love the accent finger. 🙂 Very pretty for fall and it matches your outfit really well!

  5. I love all of those colors and I am laughing right now at the fact that I have fall/winter coats in three of those colors (or very, very similar): ultramarine green, tangerine tango, and titanium. I love color! The nails are great.

  6. Love the red. Right, I’m sporting a shade of gray. Like you, I’m not much of a nail art person, but I would give a little sparkle a try.

  8. I’m a total Pantone addict, honey gold is my flavor of the month. I especially like it paired with sea foam green and black for an extra bit of pop.
