Autumn In the Park

Hello all! Hope you are having a fantastic Tuesday! I’m here trying to tidy up our place, pack, and getting us ready for our trip to LA tomorrow. This will be our 2nd time out to the west coast. Ms. Zoey was a little rascal last time we flew to LA (6 hrs flight). My husband and I looked at each other like, “really? is this really OUR child acting up?!” We were shocked to say the least. Thankfully, that only happened once (I would like to think that it was a rare anomaly) since our many flying trips w/ Zoey. I hope she will be on her best behavior this time, as she usually is when we travel! Fingers crossed.

Anyhow, one of the things that we enjoy doing w/ Zoey is taking her to the park. She loves the swing and running around the vast green grass. Here are some fun pics of mommy + me at the park one autumn day.

Oh, btw, remember that last post when I recently just tried out wearing red lips? Well, I did it again! Way to go, this was my 2nd time. But who’s counting?!

Zoey donned a cute hooded knit sweater from Jacadi. It keeps her stylish AND warm. A must in mommy’s books.

She’s the cutest.

Nothing beats the feeling when your baby gets super duper excited to see you!

She’s getting too heavy! Soon, I will not be able to do this.

It’s amazing how much babies pick up what goes on in their environment. Zoey was playing in my closet and picked up some qtips. She tried to put them in her ears! I was shocked that she knew what qtips were for. Lately, when she hears the phone rings, she’ll put her hand to her ear and mutter a sound. This is her way of mimicking us when we say hello. We are being very careful about monitoring what she sees and hears. Yes, eventually she’ll learn what she needs to but there’s a time and place for all of that.

Below, she tries to steal my earring and wears it!

Enjoy the rest of your week!

  1. Kellie, I love all your photographs and little stories that go along with you and your adventures with zoe. Maybe one day you make a book with some of your photographs, telling a story. Like coffee table books or something. I think I would love to have that on my table to show my guests. It would be so interesting
    Take care
