When my sis in law gave me some mini decorative faux fruits, I knew instantly what I was going to do with them. I had some leftover gold spray paint from when I did DIY Gold Tip Baby Mary Janes and thought that adding a light layer of gold paint to these faux fruits would make them not so ordinary.
Combine these gold sprayed fruits w/ some dried maple leaves (also gold sprayed), and freshly picked persimmons, you’ll surely create festive tablescapes on a dime!
The supplies needed for this project are minimal. A can of gold spray paint, some faux fruits (from the dollar store), and dry leaves. You can also use berry branches, pine cones, or whatever you can find. Use your imagination!
I sprayed the faux fruits very lightly w/ gold paint so that their original colors and texture can come through.
You can’t have an extraordinary tablescape w/o having fresh flowers! Here, I have green and red hydrangeas. Mums are also great fall blooms and are very easily accessible this season.
Here’s another DIY fall tablescape post to get your creative juices flowing. Enjoy decking out your place for those yummy and festive dinner parties!
This was such a cute idea.
