This is probably one of my most favorite times of the yr. Outside the streets are lined w/ festive lights, people are bustling through the city from shop to shop, local cafe joints serving up their specialty drinks, and snowflakes falling making all things more merry! Inside, our Christmas tree is lit while we relax to X-Mas carols. And I must admit, I’ve indulged in more than my fair share of hot cocoa with loads of mini-marshmallows.
We are hosting our little holiday dinner party next weekend and that means a holiday dinner menu to prepare! I’m thinking a charcuterie plate and plum wine to start while truffles and tea will end the night. My husband will probably make some sort of butter seared duck dish for the main course and other tidbits in b/w.
So with all the holiday parties lining up…what’s a girl to wear?! Thanks to Lulu’s a few weeks back for sending me holiday-perfect pieces! The gold sequin top fits the bill for festive festivities… and paired with red gold cap toe pumps, it’s an outfit made in holiday heaven!

These distressed Joe’s jeans help balance out the glitz of the top and pumps. Kinda prevents you from being overdressed (nothing worse than feeling too overdressed!) but still appropriately dolled up for them parties!

What is more beautiful and festive than the first snowfall?! PS. I LOVE my city (Boston)! It’s absolutely GORG.
