Today started off well. Before heading off to the market to pick up much needed necessities, I made a healthy smoothie consisting of nonfat greek yogurt, almonds, soymilk, and nectarine. It lasted me for a good couple of hours.
When I left the store, the aroma of fried chicken filled the air and I was so tempted to just go grab some! Luckily, I stopped myself. Got home and prepared a simple baby arugula salad.
But you know what? After the salad, I still felt hungry so I made myself a piping hot bowl of Pho (Vietnamese Beef Noodle Soup) that the hubs made over the weekend. Thank goodness for the husband’s cooking!
Now that the peonies are almost gone, the hydrangeas are fiercely making their mark. I see ya- loud and clear! These white/green ones are my FAV. Such simplicity and so zenful.
Mini-cupcakes…b/c I rightfully deserve them!
Have a wonderful day.
P.S. I bought Zoey the CUTEST pair of blush pink ballet slippers.
looks good 🙂
