It hurts me to say that summer is slowly slipping away. And with weather like this, 60’s in the mornings, reality is setting in. Autumn will soon approach and most likely, we will need those cardigans and jackets to keep us toasty. I just love Fall, the breeze, the hot cup of tea, the style…

I must admit that I and mine really scored a few fantastic things at Zara’s sale lately. I think there’s a simple secret to sale shopping: Know what’s coming in–the big trends–and look for sale pieces in keeping with those, or else real classics.
But I’m really in fall mode now, so I think my bargain hunting is at an end. Too many things have turned colour in my garden already, I guess!

We have Zara in Sydney but not Brisbane (Yet. Coming soon). I was so happy shopping at Zara on the Champs Elysee a couple of years ago. Mostly because, let’s face it, it was the only shopping on that street I could afford to do! 🙂

I agree, the striped blazer would be a bit OTT for me as well but I love the jacket with horizontal stripes in more muted tones and a (for me) more flattering cut. I’m itching to get my hands on some fabulous fall fashion but am still on holiday so it will have to wait a couple of weeks. X
