ShopRagHouse, a new and upcoming fashion site, believes that anyone can be a designer and wants to empower women to try their hand at design. So whether you are a fashion enthusiast or a fashion graduate, as long as you have a design idea, ShopRagHouse can turn that idea into reality. They will help you through the design process, possibly produce it, sell the garment, AND split the profits with you.

Here’s how it works:

You design it, members vote and fund it, ShopRagHouse will produce it. 

The site was founded after two Harvard Law School grads (fashion enthusiasts themselves!) Joanna Florez and Bridgette Hylton tried to launch a collection and realized how difficult it was to have garments produced and sold. This frustration lead to a vision- to provide a platform that would make it easier for designers to get their work in front of the people who matter most: prospective buyers.Thus, ShopRagHouse was born. 

So far, ShopRagHouse has produced two winning dresses from previous competitions, The Elsa and The Diana.
