First Day Out

Don’t get me wrong. It’s not like ever since I’ve had Axel, I’ve been hibernating. Of course I’ve been out and about…but never without leggings, a comfy tee, cozy uggs, an oversized jacket, and a mommy bun. Comfort is my first priority lately. Seriously, with a 5 week old newborn (who refuses to sleep at night), who has the time to get all primped up?

However, today was an exception. It was my “First Day Out.” We took Zoey to a neighborhood Easter egg hunt and I decided to look somewhat presentable. After all, I was kinda tired of looking like a ‘slob’ ALL the time. I still made sure I stuck to my staples- leggings, a loose jacket, and a mommy (lazy) bun.

meAlthough it’s Spring, the weather here in Boston still calls for a Fall wardrobe. Can’t wait for flowy dresses kind of weather!

    1. Hi Micia!

My secret is a loose black jacket! Trust me, I’m not as tiny as it looks (I still have a long way to go). I try to eat a balanced salad at least for lunch OR dinner. For breakfast, I usually make a smoothie (kale, pineapple, and whatever else I can find in the fridge that’s healthy).

Congrats on your 5 mths old!

      Best,
      Kellie

  2. You look fabulous! Comfort is definitely key, but it’s nice to look super amazing every now and then.
