One of the many things that I adore about Boston is that there are cute cafe shops in every nook and cranny. Cafes are the perfect place to catch up with gal pals about work, kids, and life in general. There’s just something about the combination of chilly weather, the aroma of lattes, and great company. Add to all those things- holiday lights and snowflakes. Ah…’tis the season!
I don’t post about my style as much as I would like to. Fashion is another form of creativity. It’s how one expresses oneself to the world. When you are comfortable and feel good about yourself on the outside, you tend to project more confidence and positivity from the inside. It makes conquering daily tasks less gruesome. I remember DVF saying something like this: “Everyone does the same thing. We all wake up, eat, and sleep. It’s how we do it that matters.” So do it with style!
On a side note, my life goal is to take things in stride. You can’t get stressed, depressed, or angry unless you allow yourself to. They can’t hurt you unless you let them. You are in control.
Anyhow, here’s my ensemble to a recent cafe date. I’m not quite sure how I would define my style. I just know that I have to be comfortable at all times. In this season, it means a lot of loose fitting jackets. This one in particular, my husband describes as a bathrobe. Thank you hunnie, I guess you can’t get more comfy than a bathrobe!

So glad you get a chance to get some me time that includes a cafe! I live in suburbia so my fave cafe is my bed with my Gracie kitty, vanilla bean coffee and my fav blogs! :-). Starbucks is right across the street but no thanks! If I lived there, a nice privately owned cafe with chocolate cuissants would do it! ;-). Love the comfort fashion with style! You have it all!

The entire ensemble is wonderful but the coat ….love! I have a few cafes in NYC that I adore – one in particular is LA Burdick’s in the Flatiron area. Their hot white chocolate is addictive. Happy Holidays!
