Tea For Two

Outdoor entertaining doesn’t have to be complicated. In fact, if you have some sort of seating area and a tree (yep, just one), you’re all set. If your biggest problem is not having anyone to throw a party for (kinda like me), well just do it for your most precious guests. The kids. Remember when you were young, you loved playing dress up? Whether it was dressing up for the beach inside while snowing outside or dressing up…just because; it was all so much fun.

Here are my two little ones all dressed up for tea time…just because!

TEA FOR TWO BY LE ZOE MUSINGS

This little tea party happened while we were in Florida at my parent’s backyard. I strung cherry blossom lantern lights on this fruit tree that my parents grew when we first moved into the house. The lights made it super summery and festive.

The kids enjoyed small treats including the cutest sprinkle cupcakes, mini croissants, berries, and cherries.

Teapots were used for decoration because these two munchkins were obviously not drinking tea! Plus you can’t have a tea party without teacups and such.

Fresh flowers are a must for outdoor entertaining. They add vibrancy and make any setting even more beautiful.

  1. Oh my goodness, this is lovely. You’re children are super, super lucky to have such an awesome mum. I can’t wait to do this for Molly when she’s older!
