We are approaching the end of summer which means farewell to beach days, basking in the sun, and all the family fun activities that New England summer has to offer. Yesterday, we took the kiddos to the beach where they enjoyed playing in the water, digging in the sand, and picking seashells.
This is Axel’s first summer where he can actually enjoy the beach. This time last year, he was still an itsy bitsy baby.
This may be our last summer beach visit. Hopefully the weather will prove me wrong and we can make another trip. How did you and your family spend Labor day weekend?

We went out to Pennsylvania for my sister-in-law’s book release party (All the Difference, by Leah Ferguson – shameless family plug!). It was nice to see everyone, though I definitely could use some beach time!

We relaxed and stayed out of the heat! Even though I live so close to the beach I never go! I should probably remedy that!
