Last year, I received a note from Lauren, the founder of Bond Twenty asking if I’d like to contribute to the site in some way. Initially, I didn’t pay much attention because in all honesty, I receive random emails to contribute all the time.

I replied with a one snobbish sentence asking to see the site. Lauren then sent me the splash page of her vision for Bond Twenty and I was mesmerized. I quickly sent her basically a love letter-worthy email gushing about how beautiful, thoughtful and inspiring the site was!

I felt an instant connection. Our vision about all things life and creativity was in line. After months of connecting, I finally joined the team as Art Director.

Bond Twenty is a creative collective community space with editorial content covering various topics- fashion, travel, design, beauty, health + wellness, and all around lifestyle articles that are meant to elevate your daily life.

The site was beautifully designed by the very talented Hanna Seabrook of Gadabout Creative. As Art Director, aside from shooting lifestyle imagery, I make sure that all the visuals on the site remain consistent with the brand voice- stylish, confident, feminine with a splash of sexy. Sometimes, designs and functionality don’t mix so the decisions may entail not implementing original nixed corners, having the rectangle boxes less opaque when not hovered, replacing a hero image, or making the ribbon tabs a shade more pink, etc.

If you’re “lost in your twenties” (hint hint, so is everyone else), Bond Twenty may be perfect for you. There are postings on jobs, living, and events in every major city to help guide you through your next passion.

There is also a “SHOP” section where you’ll find fashion edits of all kinds of trending looks. Click on any of the products and you can buy directly from the site.

And last but not least, at the very bottom of the site, you’ll find a rotating collective Instagram feed of our Bond girls- the team, contributors, and brand ambassadors.
