As far as I’m concerned, Spring is already here! Today, the weather is in the 70’s- that’s quite remarkable for this time of the year in Boston. I’m ready for everything to become alive, cheery and vibrant again. I’m always looking forward to the daffodils the most because they signify the first of Spring existence for me.
Today, I’m sharing a really easy to achieve Spring tablescape. It’s beautiful, happy, vibrant, whimsical but most importantly very Spring-ish!
This Whimsical Spring Tablescape is basically just a collection of mixed flowers in a hodgepodge set of glass jars. Add a few gold candlesticks to the mix to make it even more magical.
I don’t ever throw anything away. I’m a very organized hoarder. Spaghetti jars, water glass bottles, jam containers- I keep them all! I use them as drinking glasses or in this case as vases. This is why this project costed me literally four bucks! The mix bouquet was only $4 at Wholefoods. Everything else? I already owned.
You can’t tell me that this tablescape doesn’t look like a million bucks. I’m not bragging, I’m just saying…
Martha Stewart, look out gurllll.
The trick is to keep it very simple. You only need one or two floral stems in each glass container. This way, you also get more for your money. You’re not going to need a lot of flowers to make a big statement.
Romantic and magical.
These tiny glass bud vases are perfect for this as well.
Absolutely love the way my dining room looks right now!!
I hope you’ll give this a try. You certainly don’t have to be a professional florist to create something as gorgeous as this! Perfect for outdoor entertaining as well…
Btw- you probably haven’t noticed, but we changed out our dining room lighting from an antique brass chandelier to this magnificent one. Here’s how our dining room looked previously.
Happy almost Spring!

The flowers look great, I think I need them in my house as it definitely doesn’t feel like spring time yet in the UK!

I completely agree! Do this with roses, baby’s breath and ranunculus and it’s going to be divine for a wedding occasion. xo Kellie

I couldn’t agree more about feeling like Spring has already sprung! It is the same here in Indiana. I love this tablescape so much that when I get home tonight I feel the need to go searching in my house for jars, bottles, etc. to use to create something similar, thanks for the inspiration!
