My little love has this entire week off from school so we’ve been bonding over grocery shopping duties, walks in the park and making yummy food. Zoey loves to help out whenever possible, especially in the kitchen.
Yesterday, we made the most delicious and healthy sweet treats. These Mini Frozen Yogurt Flowers combines both of my kids’ love for yogurt and ice cream. If only you knew how easy it was to whip up these adorable tiny bites…
The ingredients are simple- yogurt and fresh fruits.
Because Spring is in the air, I thought these flower-shaped ice molds would be perfect. I believe they’re from IKEA. Needless to say, if you don’t have this, you could use just regular ice cube trays.
Zoey was the perfect helper. This is such an easy and fun little food project for the little ones. Just scoop the yogurt into the ice molds. How simpler can this get?!
I left the tray in the freezer overnight. The silicone material made it easy to pop out the yogurt. Btw- last minute, we decided to add more toppings so we opted for granola and pretty colorful sprinkles. Don’t they look like beautiful jewels?!
On a side note- Ms. Zoey is turning five soon and entering kindergarten next Fall!
So there you have it, a healthy snack for anytime of the day. Frozen yogurt for breakfast anyone? They are also perfect for desserts and there is absolutely no guilt associated whatsoever.
In Instagram news- 1. Meet me in Paree, let’s sip and chit-chat at a cafe & grab a freshly baked baguette and a dozen of pink roses on our way home. #Parisisalwaysagoodidea #dreamer 2. Tulips & Chanel. Can’t go wrong 3. My usual cup of daily morning decaf latte 4. Zoey self-diagnosed herself as having a fever. Turns out she was right but it wasn’t anything some candy-tasting medicine can’t handle.
