I have an addiction. I love white. If it were entirely up to me, my entire house would be white with the slightest hint of gray sprinkled with gold accents. We are renovating our kids’ room right now and the thought of having to incorporate pink and/or blue anything gives me hives. I don’t believe that I’m allergic to color, I just prefer things to be very minimal, bright and clean. Zoey knows that mom’s favorite color is ‘white’.
I never ever change out my bedsheets, pillows and blankets to be any other color than white. OMGoodness, god forbid. Until recently. I decided to be brave, took a leap of faith and switched out my white blanket for something more Spring-like, flowery and whimsical. Sounds scary.
But I LOVE it! Sometimes, you have to live outside the box…
This duvet cover was the perfect transition for me. Although it’s not completely white, there was still enough of it with hints of beautiful Spring patterns. It still kept my room light and airy which I love.
I found this gorgeous Mirabelle Duvet Cover c/o on Cottage and Bungalow’s site. They have everything you would ever need to create a home space of your dreams.
Zoey and Axel spends most of their time in our bedroom. Even more so now that their room is under construction. How precious are they under this cover?!
Peonies, macarons, tea and a beautiful duvet cover. That’s all you need for a perfect me-time in bed.
In the picture above, Axel when he was just a day old!
If you’re wondering, that floor length gold mirror is in our home office which is a small room connected to our bedroom. The mirror was initially meant for the bedroom but it turned out too big for the intended little nook so into the office it went!
I’m dying over the beauty of these peonies.
They make my heart sing.

Lovely details! Very cosy bedroom ❤
Love it 🙂
So beautiful! I’m remodeling my bedroom right now, I would love to have it more feminine without going to over board for my fiancé.
I love white too! Your photos are amazing, I especially like the way you styled the macarons and tea on the tray. So pretty!
Your bedroom is really nice! Love everything ❤️
Thanks Love!! xo, Kellie
