Zoey has these pair of Clarks Mary Jane that she absolutely loves. She wears them every single day of her life for about three months straight now. Needless to say, they’re well-loved and there are a lot of scuffing particularly on the cap part of the shoes.
I don’t have the heart to toss them out-yet. Aside from the exterior fading, nothing is the wrong with the shoes. They are still very functional and the quality is great. I love getting Clarks shoes for the kiddos because they tend to last forever and ever.
Instead of bidding adieu, I’ve decided to give Ms. Z’s well-worn pair of flats a little makeover. Say hello to her ‘new’ Gold Cap Toe Mary Janes.
Ms. Z definitely approves of mommy’s little magic. She said that her shoes are now so beautiful!
This makeover was easy. Supplies include gold spray paint and painter’s tape. That’s it.
Can you imagine doing this to some of your old flats? Gold cap toe shoes are so classy and they’ll never go out of style.
Hope you’ll give this little fashion project a try! Such a great way to bring life to an old pair of shoes that you’re not ready to say farewell to.

What cute shoes for a little girl 🙂 I also love Zoe’s princess/ballerina skirt. The colour is beautiful and suits her.
