It took over three years, but at last- it’s done! Our roof deck is the latest addition to our home renovation. With sweeping city views, you could see the Boston harbor, downtown skyline and beyond from our deck. The most amazing bonus is being able to see New Year’s and July 4th fireworks unobstructed!
I guess what they say is true. Good things come to those who wait.
What I love most about our deck is the decorative cast iron rail. I have to give all the credit to my hubs, who ultimately came up with the idea and ran with the decision. We call our little outdoor space, Paris in Boston.
We haven’t furnished the deck yet as you could probably tell with the pictures. The area is not too big so we are contemplating on outdoor furniture sizes. Most of them are too big and bulky. The goal is to maximize the space. Maybe we’ll just go with a table and a few chairs? Not sure! Let me know if you have any suggestions.
I am very much looking forward to much warmer weather when we could come up here to enjoy the morning breeze, mid-afternoon teas, and family dinners…
Your roof looks so fabulous and your coat looks awesome. I should come your forsee your house roof.
