I’ve been lacking so much sleep, it’s insane. Axel’s been waking up every 1.5-2 hrs at night. Each time he brutally wakes me up, I swear I would nap during the day to make up for the lost sleep. However, when morning comes I’m as energetic as ever. Napping?! Nah– it’s for the weak folks.
And now that the days are much warmer and brighter, ain’t no way I’m wasting my time napping! In actuality, I think it’s more a sign of old age. The older you get, the less sleep you need.
When I can put Axel down (he’s been really wanting to be held 24/7!), I have a list of to-do’s that I try to accomplish. Call me CRAZY.
Anyhow, one of my goals is to finish decorating his nursery. I’m not there yet, but it’s getting pretty darn close. I just completed making his Raincloud Mobile. I wanted something blue, dreamy, and whimsical. This little project didn’t cost me a cent! Because I have hoarding tendencies, I already had all the necessary supplies (which have probably been collecting dust for years).
I use white thread and push pins to hang the pom-poms onto the ceiling. I think this little project would also be great for April Showers themed baby showers.
Here’s the pictorial on how to make pom-poms, c/o Georgia from Before The Big Day:
On a side note, the boss ladies are visiting Axel tomorrow. I’m excited!
Have a wonderful day.

We don’t have babies anymore. But I would love to see this in my studio. I might have to make one!
