Infused Water {homemade}

Hello! How was everyone’s weekend? Ours was great. My sister from NYC came to visit Ms. Zoey so we spent some quality family time w/ her. Sat night, we had a yummy Korean bbq dinner at the sis in law’s new place.

And yesterday, while the husband worked on the garden, I made infused water w/ lemon, mint, + raspberries straight from the garden! Well, minus the lemon of course- we don’t have a lemon tree, unfortunately. So after daddy worked hard weeding, he quenched his thirst w/ homemade infused water. AMAZING!

So easy, healthy, and it looks so pleasant!

To me, this screams “SUMMER!”

Lemon slices- don’t you love the vibrant, happy color?!

Do try this at home and you can add any berries available- blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, etc. Serve it at a bbq, your guests will surely be impressed!

Happy Summer!

‘Til next post, Kellie.

  2. omg, I love the caption designs on your photos! How do I do that? I need a tutorial! Anyway, I stopped by to see if you have new artwork. I need some for the townhouse! I miss you lady! • Hi Glor! How are you doing?! Nice to hear from you! I use photoshop for text. Anyhow, Thanks so much for thinking of me. I actually am in the process of transitioning Le Zoe Scribbles from an esty art shop to something new. Better I think… so no new prints. But if you want any of my previous prints just let me know! Would love to meet up if you are in the Boston area in the summer. Feel free to email me at lezoe2012@gmail.com anytime. Lots of love!! Best, Kellie

I use Lemon balm (Melissa officinalis) in my water – from the garden. I never took such lovely photos of it though. ;)

  5. This looks yummy! I’ve never had infused water before. This reminds me of a delicious sangria recipe my aunt uses… but this is actually something I could share with my son! I think he would enjoy drinking water more if it tasted as delicious as this looks.

Your blog is beautiful as are you and your daughter. I’m so glad you liked one of my posts because who knows if/when I would have discovered this gem of a blog! :-)

  6. Hey Kellie!
LOVE your blog! The pictures are quite stunning and I have to try making lemon-raspberry-mint infused water now. I don’t believe I’ve ever had infused water before so this should be interesting!

  8. I will definitely try this! A hotel my husband used to work at always had infused water and it was always so refreshing.

  9. Hi Zoe

Congratulations on a stunning blog! I recommend infused water to my clients a lot – it’s such a pleasant way to ensure you drink enough water. Your photos are so beautiful I just had to reblog this post :o)

    Warm regards

Beautiful photos. I love doing infused water for dinner parties. I often do lemon, orange, mint or cucumber, or a combo. Tarragon and sage are fun, too. I haven’t done berries, I’ll try that next time. Thanks for the idea!

  14. yummy! thanks for liking my page. I made some infused water the other day with Lemon Balm (which grows like a weed for me) and pineapple. So refreshing.

  15. YUMMM! I’m away from The Muddy Kitchen right now but on my way back tonight. I’ll have to make a few of these – my lemon balm is going nuts so may add that. xx

  17. Beautiful! I made an infused water recently for a family get-together, but mine was all citrus-based: orange, lemon and lime. I’ll post about it one of these days!

  18. I’m a big fan of infused water. It just elevates the experience of downing a glass pf H20! I usually add lime and mint leaves, what you have here looks beautiful. Sometimes the simplest creations are the most beautiful. Such brilliant colour!

  19. This looks amazing (and probably tastes it, too)! We’ve heard that cucumber-infused water is also quite refreshing – definitely something to try!
