Party-hosting festivities are in such high gear right now as the days are getting warmer and longer. I love entertaining loved ones in a whimsical intimate setting. Here’s a simple DIY idea for your next summer party that will leave you gleaming as the most thoughtful and creative host- ever. Let’s take place setting cards to the next level. We’ll make them personalized, gorgeous, and edible! These gold chocolate name place settings are just perfect.
I created the edible letters using melted white chocolate and an alphabet mold tray. Not only will your guests gush over how adorable their name ‘cards’ are; they can totally eat them too! Please note that these are not intended for outdoor parties as the chocolate may melt easily.
Here’s how: Pour melted white chocolate into the letter mold. Allow to set in the fridge for one hour. Carefully, remove the letters. Spray the white chocolate letters with an edible gold spray paint. Store in the fridge until ready to be used.
I am loving this gold floret cocktail napkin from Anthropologie!
You can never go wrong with fresh flowers. I suggest adding a few here and there to your setting.

That is genius. Would also be nice in silver. How did you think of this?! What sparked it off – did you look at the alphabet stencil and it came to you? 🙂

Super fantastic. Love the napkins with flowers. I did the same last fall with an all white table setting, silver goblets, and white linen napkins with lavender. So lovely and so easy to do. The white in fall was a nice juxtaposition to a rainy season. And your DIY approach and ideology is refreshing ~
