If you are looking for some bedroom makeover ideas, you’ve come to the right place! Recently, I worked on a project collaboration with Graham Brown using their Paradise Grey wallpaper for a mini bedroom transformation and the results were stunning…
I’m not at all for bold colors (perhaps because I’m not generally a daring person) and tend to stick to a neutral palette. Whites, creams, and grays– this was my go to color combination.
I used to think that wallpaper meant grandma kitchens with roses and such on the walls, but as you can tell; that’s no longer the case. Now I’m a huge fan! There so many choices as far as colors, patterns, and textures. You can stick to the color scheme of choice but incorporate a patterned wallpaper to make the space a little less boring. This paradise grey wallpaper did just that.
And you know me! I love natural light so when there’s an opportunity to take advantage of this, I’m on it. The white bedsheets, curtains, and chandelier help to reflect the natural light in the space and make the room feel even brighter and more airy.
Previously, the room’s accent wall was a very dark gray. Changing this out with a lighter shade of gray patterned wallpaper did wonders. The bedroom immediately appeared bigger.
If you are craving a pop of color but fear the commitment, add small decor pieces. This way when you are bored, just store them away. Here, I used bright pink roses to add that fun, feminine, and colorful element.
I’ve always been an advocate of using clothes and/or accessories to double as display items. It’s a great way of adding your own personal touch and style to a room.
My advice is don’t fear wallpapers. They’re a great invention and has been around for eons.
Have a space that’s long overdue for a makeover? Just do it.
Have a wonderful weekend!

Great ideas and gorgeous room! We just finished putting up drywall in our bedroom and I will soon be able to paint in there for the first time ever in this house! (9 years!) Creams, grey with accents of purples, pinks and reds are the plan 🙂 I never really thought about using wallpaper. I will definitely have to look into that!

“I used to think that wallpaper meant grandma kitchens with roses and such on the walls, but as you can tell; that’s no longer the case. ” So true! That is exactly how I felt about wallpapers. I could not understand why anyone would want to have wallpaper on their walls in this day in age! But I understand now… I have just not been brave enough to try out myself. Well done. It looks amazing!
