Inspiration surrounds us. Many times, you don’t have to go far to be inspired. Look outside your window, go for a walk, or simply search your closet. You’re bound to find beauty from the unexpected. This was the case for me as I was trying to get my mani on but was bored and tired of sportin’ the same monotone digits.
I have a bag that I never wear. Honestly, it was one of those impulsive luxury buys that I sort of regret later in my adult life (hunnie, you didn’t hear this from me!). I can’t say that it’s versatile, very functional, or goes with everything because it’s none of that. Ironically, it was this bag that has been sitting very pretty in my closet and hasn’t seen the light of day was the one piece that inspired my mani look…
Finally, I was able to put this Fendi purse to use! All the glory of golden summer days was seen in this handbag so I wanted to translate that onto my nails. Pink, whimsical, romantic, and feminine with an edge. First, I created a subtle pink ombre look by applying the lightest shade nail color on the pinky and the darkest on the thumb. I used a combination of Floss Gloss and Essie polishes. Next, while the polish is still wet use a pair of tweezers to apply the gold metal studs. Lastly, apply a fast drying top coat. Although I did not use nail glue, I would recommend it to prevent the studs from falling off in a couple of days.
The 3d Nail Art Decorations Wheel was $2.99 (free shipping) on Amazon! Link HERE. It arrived in about two weeks.
Hope you’ve enjoyed this little nail post so don’t wait, go get nailed!
