Tidbits of life lately via instagram and last yr’s holiday video…
Last Sunday’s breakfast. This is our typical weekend morning meal. Hubs made sunny-side up eggs, bacon, and croissants while Zoey and I made hot chocolate with marshmallows.
Here’s a view outside my office window yesterday. Snow was coming down hard. No worries- I had my tea and coconut buttercream frosting candle to keep me warm. And yes, those are actually nail polishes on the window sill. Can you tell who’s the nail maven in our team?!
Also in other work related news, Model City Polish just launched on Gloss48. We created place cards with a polish swatch on each card. Of course the polishes were actually holiday polish favors that your guests can bring home. It’s such a neat and sparkly idea~ perfect for the holidays. Shop the Model City Polish sale here.
Recently stumbled upon this pic of us taken when I was 4 months pregnant with Axel. As you can see, Zoey copies everything I do. Red lips, checked. Sunnies, checked. She is such a little sweetheart. We said that she looked cute the other night and she replied “I’m not cute, I’m adorable!” Her vocabulary is getting extensive. Yes, it is.
Today has been an adventure! Baby Axel had a little operation and he was such a trooper. Calm prior to surgery and even a happier baby afterwards. Everyone was surprised that he woke up immediately and was as active as ever. He’s now enjoying a nap. I think he’s probably still drugged and can’t feel a thing!
Glistening in gold. Gold ornaments, gold phone case. I’ve gone gold crazy! We finally put up our tree although half of our ornaments are missing. You know those boxes full of X-Mas junk that you store away somewhere in the basement? Well, we haven’t found the 2nd box yet. Our tree is very bare right now.
Above is the “The Snowfall” holiday video that I made last year of Zoey. This video captured many firsts- our first X-Mas in the new house, the first snowfall of the season, and Zoey’s first time decorating the tree. You’ll see our festive neighborhood all decked out for the season and the wreaths that we hang on our door. Some of you may already seen this little film but I’m sure many have not- so please enjoy!
My goal is to make another holiday video of the kids soon…
Enjoy your weekend.
Your video was gorgeous and made me very homesick for Boston…..

Very sweet video! Zoey is adorable decorating the tree. I hope baby Alex recovers speedily from his surgery. The video of snow with the lantern was lovely. Even with half your ornaments missing, your tree still looks 100% spectacular.

Very cute video! I am sure you will find your box. When my daughter was small I gave her the bottom half of the tree to decorate with her small things and the top half was mine. It really looked awful!
