Guys, it’s that time again! Making popsicles in my house is a popular tradition in the summer. My kids often lend a helping hand and it’s just so much fun for everyone. Popsicles require only a few ingredients and you can totally control what you put in them so you know exactly what your kids are eating.
I’ve written quite a few popsicle posts in the last year or so and I would have to say that they are my most popular posts of all time. My Yogurt Parfait Popsicles has been pinned over 50K times although it appears like WordPress just reset the count so now I lost track…bummer! It has also been featured on sites such as The Huffington Post and godt of Norway. In addition, my Patriotic July 4th Popsicles got featured on Honest Cooking last year. So listen, take my popsicle recipes seriously!
My kids are currently enjoying this very delicious summery Strawberry Mango Popsicles. There are only three ingredients to this recipe: mango nectar, fresh mango chunks and fresh strawberry cubes. Guess where I got the strawberries from? Remember, our recent family trip to the strawberry farm?!
For those who are not familiar, mango nectar is basically a juice made from mango juice and pulp. You can probably find it either in the juice or ethnic aisle (think GOYA) at your local supermarket.
Steps: 1. Add fresh cubes/slices of mango and strawberries into popsicle molds 2. Pour in mango nectar 3. Pop them in the freezer overnight 4. Voila! Enjoy.
I hope you’re give this one a try!
Here are other popsicle recipes that I’ve shared in the past…
Red, White and Blue Popsicles. Think July 4th!
Cherry Rose Tea Popsicles. Think edible flowers combined with tea!
Coconut Flower Popsicles. Delicate, refreshing and maybe too pretty to eat?! This one doesn’t require any popsicle mold…
Energizing Fruit Juice Popsicles. Need a burst of energy throughout the day? This one’s for you.
Yogurt Parfait Popsicles. Yes, you can eat these for breakfast. Clever, I know.
Which one do you think you’ll try? Please share!
