Insta Snaps!

So I’ve joined the bandwagon of Instagramming! I hesitated for a while b/c how many social-media networks can one join? At a certain point, it just gets too much. But there has been numerous times while we were on the go that I wished there was a way for me to capture the impromptu moments (when my camera’s not handy).

My number one concern was that Instagram would take too much of my time. I wanted to share pictures in an instant (meaning seconds), anymore than that is not worth me investing my efforts into. To my surprise, it literally took me just seconds! Snap, effect, post! DONE.

I am, however, a little frustrated by two points: 1) You have to utilize a third party site to view your pictures via web (unless you autoshare to fb, etc.) I chose Webstagram.  2) The function to add a profile image on my phone doesn’t work!! Can’t be that hard! Super frustrating but I’ll figure it out (tips, anyone?)

Here’s a roundup of shots from last week to date…

Follow me on Instagram for the other stuff not on my blog!

    1. Hi Meghan- Z is a super rascal nowadays, its so hard to keep up w/ her! She’s an energizer bunny 24/7. Although Wasabi is cool in theory, I’m not particularly fond of the taste. I’ll say skip it if you really want good sushi but try it if you just want the experience. Best, Kellie

  1. Kellie,
Thank you so much for following my blog. I just discovered yours and will follow you, also. I, too, have resisted instagram for the same reasons but will have to give it a try since you like it. That’s a precious baby girl! Have a great day.

  2. I just started playing with it too, while on vacation. It did make it super easy to have the family follow along while on the go. My issue…. I can’t find how to zoom while in the instagram app. The normal iPhone camera zooms but not with the instagram photos. I must say I only have a 3Gs so that could be my issue 🙂

  3. I just recently joined Instagram as well. It is quite convenient as I don’t want to bring my camera to school but always have my phone on me. Wish it had a direct connection to WordPress though

  4. I really wish that WordPress would have allow a live feed from instagram or webstagram (same thing I think) to your site. I have to use the image widget and upload new pictures each time with a link to my instagram/webstagram account. Is that what you are doing?

    1. This is such a great idea! Maybe they will create a widget specifically for Instagram and stream to the site like Twitter & Facebook. That would be fantastic!
