I know what you’re thinking. I’m crazy with all the holiday decor going on in my house. You’re probably right. It’s a bit insane but you can’t blame a girl for being in the holiday spirit! Can I say that I’m doing it for my two little cuties? I only get to do this once a year.

Overall, I’m just really excited to create a happy holiday environment for my kids (excuses, excuses…). Zoey checks the Christmas tree every night to see if Santa brought her any new presents. He hasn’t- it’s been a while. Most of their presents are still hiding in the basement waiting to be wrapped.

Here’s how I decked out my living room mantel. It’s basically what I do every year. Just a bunch of poinsettias, gold, and glitz.

Zoey and daddy made these white stockings.  It was probably the first time he ‘taught’ her how to sew. Click here to see how they made ’em!

Love these pine cones with artificial snow. They create a dreamy winter wonderland effect.
